Zinc sulfide has a homogeneous refractive index, which makes it being full qualified in transferring images during a wavelength range of 8000nm-12000nm. But with the shorter the wavelength being, its absorption index and scattering index increase gradually. Among its various types, the Hot Pressed Zns, CVD Zns and Multispectral CVD Zns are the most popular materials, especially in producing observation windows, detector windows etc.  SLTC has won words of mouth in producing different flat windows in sapphire, Zns and other optical materials. Now SLTC has already introduced some core equipment and made some breakthroughs in producing high precise large flat windows, the largest size we could reach is 600 X 600, surface precise is up to RMS: 1/60λ, parallel error is less than 1″and the surface quality is higher than 20-10. In aerial photography, optical imaging etc. it serves as an observation windows, high powered laser windows, infrared optical windows widely being made use of.
