Zinc sulfide has a homogeneous refractive index, which makes it being full qualified in transferring images during a wavelength range of 8000nm-12000nm. But with the shorter the wavelength being, its absorption index and scattering index increase gradually. Among its various types, the Hot Pressed Zns, CVD Zns and Multispectral CVD Zns are the most popular materials, especially in producing observation windows, detector windows etc.  SLTC is full confident in producing different types of domes including hemispheric and hyper-hemispheric domes, domes with a kerf and domes in a spherical crown shape, no matter it is in sapphire, Zns, MgF, glass or spinel etc. among which the largest radius the domes we could produce could reach 350mm. these products are usually applied as observation windows, protective windows etc.
